ARTIST BIO

Hi, my name is Sammy Mogawer I am a New England based artist with an Irish and Egyptian background. My work focuses primarily on the fantastical, illustrating characters and creatures from unknown worlds and creating a burning desire within those who view my work to explore those worlds. I do mainly concept and narrative work and have done free lance work along with work for both small and large companies and book illustration. I find my desire to share doesn’t limit itself to the stories I wish to convey through my work but also in the knowledge I have and have had the honor of being a new professor to artists just starting off their track to being professionals. Outside of my work I am passionate about the histories and fantasy storytelling and spend my time combining both with a deep rooted interest into Egyptian history and mythology that being where my family originates from and it definitely influences my work. If you find my work interesting and the narrative even more so please do not hesitate to contact me and hopefully together we can work to create something extraordinarily.
