ARTIST BIO

Hi, my name is Sammy Mogawer I am a New England based artist with an Iirsh and Egyptian background. My work focuses primally on the fantastical, illustratoring characters and creatures from unknown worlds and creating a burning desire within those who view my work to explore those worlds. I do mainly concept and narrative work and have done free lance work along with work for both small and large companies and book illsutration. I find my desire to share doesn’t limit itself to the stories I wish to convey through my work but also in the knowdlge I have and have had the honor of being a new professor to artists just starting off their track to being professtianls. Outside of my work I am passiante about the histories and fantasy storytelling and spend my time combinding both with a deep rooted interest into Egyptian history and mythology that being where my family orignates from and it definitely influences my work.
